Domaine Roche-Audran Côtes du Rhône Villages Vaison-la-Romaine César 2017 (Magnum)

A fantastic biodynamic wine from low yielding, very old Grenache vines. Fermented and aged very large oak cask. Natural yeasts and very low sulphur. 

Beautiful black cherry colour with intense ruby highlights. A wonderfully expressive nose of candied cherries and raspberry with notes of wild herbs. A full, powerful and smooth palate with a stunning maturity of fruit and great complexity.  Delightful sweet red fruit flavours are balanced by a lovely freshness that persists right through the long length. A wine that can be drunk after 4 years and will age for up to 12 years from the vintage date.
